The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has described as laughable, rumours that he is set to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC). This is as the Governor on Monday revealed that there is no truth in rumours that he is planning to dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and return to the APC which he dumped in 2020 in the build-up to the Edo State governorship election.

A legal luminary, Olisa Agbakoba (SAN), has advised President Bola Tinubu to reduce the number of his ministers to 10 or 12. Agbakoba, who insisted that the president does not need 48 ministers,urged Tinubu to merge some ministries and scrap others.
The former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) stated this during an interview with Vanguard.
He noted that Tinubu was right to have removed fuel subsidy.
